I'm here to tell you that you can – that you can be done with all the stopping and starting, all the self-loathing. I know it's possible, because I've been right where you are.
As a former "Gray Area Drinker," I know what it's like to feel stuck in this tireless cycle of drinking and self-loathing: You're not an every now and again drinker, but you're also not at rock bottom. You're a high achiever – you're still showing up to life and in all appearances you're "excelling" – and your drinking probably looks much like others in your social circle. But deep down, you're working really hard to keep it together and you know that your drinking is holding you back from realizing your true potential and living the life you truly want.
Imagine if you never had to wake up another morning regretting drinking the night before. Imagine feeling clear-headed and more present with your friends, family, or coworkers. Imagine how confident you could feel knowing you had overcome something you once thought impossible.

What you can expect
We'll start with a free 15-minute consultation where we'll get to know each other a bit. I'll learn about why you're seeking support and we'll explore how I might help you. This is also a great opportunity for us to see if we both feel we'll be a good fit together.
The next step is to meet for a 90-minute intake session where we'll dive a bit deeper, exploring the role alcohol is playing in your life and what goals you have for the future. I'll ask more questions about your background such as family history, cultural background, and medical history, and I'll also ask about your current functioning, like sleep, energy levels, and mood changes. This all helps me get a better picture of who you are, what factors make up your lived experience, and the ways in which alcohol is impacting your life. Of course, if there is anything you are not comfortable sharing, that is absolutely okay, and we will go at your pace. We will also establish an action plan to set you up for success in your sober journey.
After that, we'll have 1-hour video sessions each week where we'll check in on your weekly goals and take steps to address any speed bumps that come up along the way. I may share a mindfulness exercise or two during session as well. This can help us co-regulate our nervous systems and demonstrate to you some tools that you may find useful for incorporating into your day-to-day.
Beyond our sessions, we will also build a personalized action plan based on your sober goals, establish daily email check-ins, and receive customized resources to fit you and your life, such as relaxation techniques, mindfulness exercises, nutrition tips, educational tools about the mind-body connection and how alcohol impacts our brains and mental wellness. Lastly, you will have access to unlimited email support and accountability between sessions to aid in your journey.
Payment is due at time of service. Installment plans are available if needed.
